The Centre is particularly active in the following fields :

• economic aspects: supply, policy development, implementing commercial agreements
• product safety and hygiene,
• technical aspects : additives, labelling, quality, environment,
• nutrition and diet.

CLITRAVI is active within the FoodDrinkEurope, the Confederation of the Food Industry of the EU. CLITRAVI is also engaged in a constant dialogue notably with the :

• European Commission (DG AGRI, DG SANCO, DG ENVI)
• European Parliament
• Council of the European Union
• European Economic and Social Committee
• EFSA (European Food & Safety Authority)

and is represented on various Commission Advisory Groups.
